You've heard the term "mama bear", right? This woman is more fierce, more angry and has more skills to pull from as a mama dragon. She protects her children fiercely insisting her children are respected by using her children's preferred pronouns. She doesn't allow disrespect of her kids and fights for them fiercely every single day.
This was painted for all the moms who are fiercely protecting their children, sometimes against people they love and have known their entire lives. She stops at nothing to ensure they are loved and protected just as they are.
Like all of my paintings, this one was painted with all the love, protection and acceptance in my heart, soul and magic. It is my intention in this painting that we as parents all accept and love our children for the people they are, not the people we want them to be.
