Astarte, the Egyptian goddess of war and sexual love, seen in blue like the heavens, scattered with stars.  Additionally, her eyes are rainbow colored showing her love of all. On her hand sits a dove, one of the animals associated with her.


Astarte has many equivalents in other cultures.  In Greek culture, she was known as Aphrodite.  In Rome, she was Venus.  In Mesopotamia, she was known as Ishtar and in Sumeria, she was known as Inanna.
